m4mentor pairs students preparing for exams with a personal mentor. This page explains what we collect, why, and who can see it.

What we collect

Why we collect it

To run your daily sessions and weekly tests, to plan your revision, and so your mentor can see how you are doing and guide you in your 1:1s.

AI support for your mentor

During the pilot, AI data processing is part of m4mentor: you accept it, with our terms, by ticking one box when you sign in. An AI drafts notes from your learning data, such as a prep note before your call, so your mentor can guide you well. Drafts are written automatically, at most once a day, and your mentor checks every draft. Marks, plan changes and the reasons for mistakes are never decided by the AI, and nothing the AI writes reaches you without your mentor's approval.

Who can see it

You, your assigned mentor and the head mentor. Other students never see your data. We do not sell your data, show ads or share it with anyone else, except the services that run the app for us: the AI provider above, and the hosting below.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored with Supabase in their Mumbai, India data centre. The app is hosted by Vercel. Both keep it secure and use it only to run m4mentor.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can update your details in the app at any time. Your account settings let you download a copy of your data, stop or restart AI processing, or delete your data and account. You can also email us at support@m4mentor.com. We will do it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app before the change applies to you.
